Goaltender. Catches left. 6'3", 163 lbs. Born, Lac-St-Charles, Que., Canada, August 15, 1977.
Biron completed his first full regular season with the Flyers after being acquired from the Buffalo Sabres at the trade deadline in 2006-07. He posted a 30-20-9 record with a 2.59 goals-against average in 62 games -- the second-highest victory and appearance totals of his NHL career for a single season -- and matched his career high with five shutouts.

After 378 regular-season games over parts of 10 NHL seasons without a postseason appearance, Biron made a winning Stanley Cup playoff debut in the Flyers' first-round victory over the Washington Capitals. He posted a 4-3 record with a 2.67 goals-against average, .908 save percentage and one shutout, a performance capped by stopping all 16 third-period shots and four in overtime of Game 7.

Biron was a first-round draft pick of the Sabres in 1995 and ranks second on that franchise’s all-time goaltending list in shutouts (18), third in games (300) and third in victories (134).
